Yoga Level 1 Program

The Yoga Level 1 program is the foundational level in the yoga training pathway, designed for beginners or instructors looking to learn the fundamentals of yoga in a scientific and professional manner before advancing to higher levels. The program aims to build a strong foundation in yoga practice by combining practical aspects (movements and applications) with theoretical aspects (scientific understanding of the body and training techniques).

Program Objectives

Level 1 Program Content
The first level  includes:
1. Yoga Basics
   – Understanding the concept of yoga and its physical and mental benefits.
   – Basic postures (Asanas).
   – Proper body alignment during exercises.

2. Breathing Techniques (Pranayama)
   – Basic breathing exercises.
   – Improving focus and relaxation.
   – Controlling energy during practice.

3. Simplified Anatomy
   – Understanding the muscles and joints used in yoga.
   – How to avoid injuries.
   – Correct movement mechanics.

4. Beginner Movement Sequences
   – Linking postures within a comprehensive session.
   – Smooth transitions between exercises.
   – Building a basic yoga session.

5. Relaxation and Meditation
   – Techniques for mental relaxation.
   – Basics of meditation and improving body awareness.

After attending all course hours and completing all requirements, the trainers receive a certificate with Continuing Education Credits  from NASM and AFAA.
